Subbing Work Out to Suppliers
Issue a work order to a dealer or dry-hire house: their scope, their price, and nothing about your client.

Open the Suppliers tab
Open any job with line items and go to the Suppliers tab, then click “Sub work out”. In AV mode you tick the individual line items you are subbing out. In Planner mode you award a whole section — Catering, Production, Transport — in one go.
Pro tip: Suppliers are created inside a job and nowhere else, so you never face an empty directory to fill in before you can start.
Pick or create the supplier
Choose an existing supplier, or create one on the spot with just a name. Add their public liability expiry at the same time: a work order cannot be sent to a supplier with no insurance date on file, and this is the one moment the answer is in front of you.
Check the scope you are sending
The scope text is written from the lines you picked, so it describes what the supplier is supplying rather than what the event is about. Edit it if you need to — it is what they sign. If it names your client, CueQuote refuses to issue the order and tells you which line to fix.
Pro tip: Item descriptions are written for your client and get copied onto the order. That is why the check reads them too, not just the text you typed.
Send the link and get an answer
Copy the link to the supplier. They open it with no login and see their scope, their price, the venue, the load-in window and the site contact — never the end client, and never your sell price. They accept by typing their name, and the date, time and answer are recorded on the order.
Revoke when it changes
If the job changes or the link gets forwarded, revoke it. Both reading and accepting stop at once, and the supplier sees the same message a wrong link would give. Revoking also frees a slot: Free plans keep 2 work orders live at a time, Starter 10, Pro and above unlimited.
Pro tip: A revoked link that could still confirm a booking would be worse than one that could still read a venue name, so both halves close together.
